We have created an interactive climate education framework using eco-friendly interactive visual aid (IVA) models for sustainable learning in schools.

The Paideia Project is a registered grassroots educational management Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) located in Lusaka, Zambia that supports teaching and learning in schools by interpreting teaching methodologies into interactive classroom techniques. This is done through the development of eco-friendly interactive visual aids from recycled material for equitable and quality education and to promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

More about The Paideia Project

Due to challenges from the high pupil-to-teacher ratio in publicly-served schools, pupils face difficulties grasping concepts in class without additional learning resources. In addition, there is a lack of extracurricular activities that equip pupils with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute towards the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Agenda. The Paideia Project has created a climate education framework in collaboration with the Ministry of Education that transforms their learning environment into EcoSmart Classrooms – filled with interactive visual aids made from recycled material, creating interactive lessons and an aura of interest for the learners.
