Amos Youth Center

Mission, Vision & Core value

The organization was founded by Kafue community leaders in August, 2006. Amos Youth Centre is registered under the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services through the Non-Governmental Organizations’ Act, 2009 (Act No. 16 of 2009).

We create quality and inclusive education, health, entrepreneurship and leadership development opportunities for vulnerable Zambian youth and women, so they can foster positive change in their communities.

The Amos Youth Centre (AYC) is a community-led, youth-driven organization that creates quality and inclusive education, health, entrepreneurship and leadership development opportunities for vulnerable Zambian youth and women, so they can foster positive change in their communities.

More about AYC

The Amos Youth Centre runs a Special Hub Called Read for Rose that serves 21 differently abled children and youth. The youth centre is located in a community called Shikoswe in Kafue, Zambia serving over 750 children, youth and women.
